Volume Control Dampers
Volume control is an essential requirement in most ventilation systems. The need to balance the airflow to different areas is as important as the choice of grille or diffuser itself.
Series of Volume Control Dampers (VCD) are excellent general-purpose units, suitable for a myriad of applications.
Typically they are used as duct dampers to control air flow directly from the principal duct. They are constructed from heavy gauge (18-16g) of galvanized sheets of parallel blades controlled by the lever which is deployed on the outside of the way.
1. These dampers have a lightweight blade and frame construction.
2. They have a completely enclosed blade linkage mechanism.
3. These dampers are available from 100 mm to 1200 mm for a single section, if the size is more than 1200mm, then the damper will be manufactured in multi-section with a single drive or multiple drives as per the requirement.
4. All operating are geared out of ducted airways.
